Badai Semalam...Satu Konklusi...

Baru lepas menonton teater Badai Semalam yang dibarisi pelakon terkenal seperti Aaron Aziz, Erra Fazira, Fizz Fairuz dan Datin Paduka Umie Aida

Beberapa perkara dapat aku simpulkan dari menonton teater tersebut

1) Engineer punyai masa yang lebih banyak untuk bersuka-ria berbanding Doktor

2) Engineer berjaya lebih awal dari Doktor

3) Gaji Engineer 4 angka, Gaji Doktor tak diketahui

4) Doktor lagi setia dari Engineer

5) Engineer menang sebab kahwin dengan heroin

I was just making fun out of it

No hard feeling guys!!!

p/s: I don't really fancy watching Istana Budaya's theatre because it is too commercialize but Badai Semalam was a decent play

A Battlefield

I was following mama to the Pasar this morning

While waiting for her to get some vegetable, I suddenly found myself in the middle of a battlefield

The sound of knives chopping the chicken resemble the sound of swords hitting shields

The sounds of butcher sharpening his knife resemble the sound of swords clinging each other

The sounds of the fishmonger shouting to promote people to come to his stall sounds like a war-cry

The sound of haggling in dfferent languages sounds really like a war between nations

The pushing and shovings seems like everybody is trying hard to penetrate the formation lines

When suddenly...."Aiz, nah tolong pegang sayur yang mama beli ni!"

POOF!!!I was back in Pasar again

Life is ALL About Balance

Don't just have a career or academic goals.

Set goals to give you a balanced, successful life

Balanced means ensuring your health, relationships, and mental peace in good order

There is no point getting a promotion on the day of your break-up

There is no fun in driving car if your back hurts

Shopping is not enjoyable if your mind is full of tensions

Life is one of those races in nursery school where you have to run with a marble in a spoon with your mouth

If the marble falls, there is no point in arriving first

Same with the life where health and relationship is the marble

Your striving is only worth if there is harmony in your life

Else, you may achieve the success, but this spark, the feeling of being excited and alive, will start to die

One thing about nurturing the spark - don't take life seriously

Life is not meant to be taken seriously, as we are really temporary here

We are like a prepaid card with limited validity

If we are lucky, we may last for another 50 years

And 50 years is just 2500 weekends

Do we really need to get so worked up?

It's OK, bunk a few classes, scoring low in a couple of papers, goof up a few interviews, take leave from work, enjoy your time with friends, to fall in love, had a little fight with our loved ones

WE ARE PEOPLE, NOT A PROGRAMMED DEVICES!

I came across this short note from Facebook

Due to recent happenings near my surroundings, I would love to share this with all of you

I really think, in LIFE (which is really a temporary one) we have to make sure we achieve some sort of balance

As we have already known, LIFE is all about enjoying the journey, the scenery and the atmosphere

The destination a.k.a goal is merely a secondary objective

The destination is just our excuse to embark the journey, in order for us to choose which path should we take

After all, we need to always realize that we are just human

And human makes MISTAKES

Life was less hectic before when

BLACKBERRY & APPLE were just fruits

Lama Sangat

Rasanya lama sangat dah tak update blog ni

Dah sampai tahap berhabuk siap tumbuh cendawan dengan lumut lagi

So-called very busy with works (fair excuse tak?)

Sekarang ni dah ada toy baru

Maimunah nama dia

Jangan salah anggap, ia bukan perempuan simpanan

Ia adalah sebuah kamera DSLR yang dah lama diidamkan (refer my post in 2008)

Alhamdulillah dengan berkat rezeki lebih sikit, aku beli 2nd hand via FTZ Photography

Good bargain, and I hope it is also a good investment

Target payback period is not less than 8 months

So sekarang ni tengah giat mencari job

Hopefully my application to join an established Photog Team berjaya (bukan apa, sebab belum direveal secara official so masih belum confirm lah kan?)

Secara eklusifnya di bawah sini adalah gambar dari Lensa Maimunah (walaupun hakikatnya lens tu aku pinjam Pundak punya, LOL)

Long Haul

Trip to UK was fun but the long haul flight drained my energy completely

I survived jet-lag for the west bound flight

However people tend to say that it is worst if you are travelling east

Currently waiting for my connecting flight from Dubai to KL

I hope jet-lag won't bother me much as I got to go back to work on Wednesday

Talking about commitment huh?

So-called "busy sangat" lah katakan

Started my SHO Class at NIOSH recently and hopefully I can be a competent Safety & Health Officer by end of 2011

It is a good leap for my career advancement I guess

As far as I am concern, I am still happy with my JOB now

Of course there were times where I thought that I did not get enough support

But hey...I think I was wrong

Everything was just fine and I strongly believe that there is MORE for me to learn here

BTW, rasa nak pergi bercutilah

Perihal Tunang, Ikan Patin dan Air Terjun

Hari ini memang menarik bagi aku

I landed my first job in photography despite not having any DSLR with me

Thousand thanks to Huda Yusoff (an old friend from KMPP) for the call-up, to Pundak for executing the job successfully with me, and to Mang for the camera

I seriously need to consider having my own DSLR I guess

I know...I know....

I've been nagging about this since my internship time, some 3 years back...HAHAHA

So, the engagement ceremony was in Felda Mempaga 1, Bentong, Pahang

Pundak and I got lost for a few moment before reaching Huda's place

We arrived a little bit late but Fuhhh~ nothing has started

We took some awesome pictures of Huda preparing herself for the ceremony

There was also another ceremony concurrent with the engagement; The Akikah for a cute baby girl and the Marhabban

We took that opportunity to snap some pictures

Cute kan?

And this was when we thought of going to Temerloh for the famous ikan patin masak tempoyak

We had a plan in mind and good to go after the engagement ceremony

The engagement ceremony went well and of course we took more awesome pictures

Congratulation Huda!

We were then invited for lunch and that is when we realized that we don't have to go to Temerloh for the famous Patin

It was served as the delicacy for the kenduri and of course it's FOC!!!

Where the Patin was cooked..I assumed

So, the plan to Temerloh was cancelled and we changed course

Air Terjun Chamang, a fewties kilometer away from Mempaga (approx. 30km ++)

After hunting and focusing for a great potraiture, now we found ourself hunting for a great landscape and Air Terjun Chamang didn't disappoint us

Despite an excessive light and brightness that limited some of our shots, we still managed to came out with some descent pictures of the nature

After we had some goreng pisang, keropok lekor & teh tarik for evening tea, we headed back home

Indeed it was a joyful day and I can say it was an Impromptu Plan (except for the engagement ceremony)

Objective was set within few minutes and we executed it a few minutes later

Barulahhh CEKAP...kan?

Tak payah nak plan segala...HAHAHA

2010 was full of challenge and adventure

Let it be work or personal life

2010 taught me to be a better person

With a better judgement and better understanding of what life is all about

2010 just waved me Goodbye

However all the memories will remain
